  1. that is insane. I have literally been looking everywhere for the A/C drain valve and spent way too much time 2nd guessing myself. Based on your response, I now know 100% without a doubt that the PO connected the A/C drain to the bottom of the cannister. It even looks like it was done aftermarket with all kinds of electric tape and different sized tubes. Any idea why the PO would do this? Without getting into the whole "I have a leak in my passenger side floorboard..." conversation, I am hoping this will fix the issue that I have where when I run the A/C, I get a flood in my passenger side floorboard. Thanks again!!
  2. I have a 1987 Comanche. My main question is what is supposed to be connected to the bottom of the Charcoal Canister? Currently, it appears that the PO connected the A/C drain line to the bottom of the Canister and I am just beside myself as I have been searching and searching for the A/C drain and low and behold, I am fairly certain was connected to the bottom of the canister. The elbow coming out of the firewall which should be the A/C drain has been taped to another tube and routed to the bottom of the canister. I would send a pic but it is impossible to get a picture of it. Thanks in advance!
  3. Awesome f***ing video!!! ;-) What is connected to the bottom of the Charcoal canister? I am chasing the issue of my A/C leaking into my 1987 Comanche's passenger floor board and have been hunting the A/C drain and just cannot find it! It appears to be connected to the bottom of the canister?????? Maybe I am super crazy or maybe it is supposed to be like that or maybe the previous PO did it but for the life of me, I cannot understand what is going on down there. Thanks again for the video. I watched the entire thing and will def put that on my long list of things to do...
  4. I just wanted to say thanks for this. When I connected mine the way I thought it should be and it started smoking I decided it would be a good idea to look up the right way to do it and this was clear and precise. Thanks for posting!
  5. MY '88 MJ came stock with the tow mirrors. The problem is that the paint shop lost my bolts to attach the mirrors back to the door. The thread inserts are in the doors and I cannot for the life of me figure out the size bolts I need that fit them. Seems silly, I know, but I literally set outside a hardware store trying what seemed like every bolt they had. If anyone knows what size they are, I would be totally grateful if you would let me know. BTW, I am new to this forum. I just purchased an '88 Comanche and I have so many questions but I will try to research all of my questions prior to posting (I researched the heck out of the bolt size for the tow mirrors and found no answers). Thanks!
  6. Can anyone tell me the size of the screws for the tow mirrors? I had my '87 Comanche painted and they lost the screws and I feel like I have tried every bolt out there. Thanks!
