  1. oh wow thank you so much!!! :D I'm the exact opposite of a mechanically person so me being me was trying to take off the screws on the bottom of the bumper :doh: wow thanks so much
  2. water in the cylinders. the water shot up to the power lines when we were gettin it out you know when you pull the spark plugs and turn her over. anyways we riped into it and found no marks on the cylinder walls there were still gaps in the spark plugs. I got lucky very lucky but every thing that one guy said is true i should have bent a rod and messed alot more up then what happened. I'm very lucky and will never let it happen again. but for now after praying it still runs :clapping:
  3. no your wrong it runs fine, thee are no bent rods i got lucky. that is a chance that it won't have enough power to get out of its own way but thats only untill the it gets back on the road for a while. i got lucky :bowdown:

  5. I'm taking off my front bumper to paint my front flairs but i can't fig out how to get the dang thang off. dose any body have a right up or anythang to help me out with takin it off. its a 89 stock bumper thanks so much
  6. about 2 months ago i was out off roading out at a state run mud hole and i got to big of balls underneath me and i went though a huge lake type of mud hole. and :rant: so since i don't have a snorkel and no lift and not even 4x4 so i hydro locked my motor and it has sat since then. now since this happened and my lack of income she was gonna sit for a while. so around the same time i found this club. now ive had a list that has grown since ive had it for mods that i wana do. well ive been painting trim, flairs, and any thing that i could with a can of spry paint. also because of Pete (thank you) i pulled up my carpet and found a few holes :eek: now since I'm from the south and have never had to deal with rust i didnt know what to thank about this. and so thats fixed I'm putin a new cluster with out idit lights :D but yesterday after cleaning my head and puting in a new starter and geting a gaskit set we put her all together and she started right up!!! :) now there is still alota work to do and it is a bit rough but hey she runs to see another day :) i couldnt be happy :jump:

  9. well i hydro locked my motor not to long ago so thats why i was thinking snorkel i like water. and i would like to know if you see any real diff between a stock intake and a K&N intake. but thank you for telling me that the k&N don't make a diff ive heard this many times and i do not thank i willl go with one of those. but i would still like to learn more about the snorkels and if they are any help at all. thanks

  11. how do you take off the bottom window trim under the winsheld wiper? I'm trying to paint some things black that are fading but getting some of thes things off is hard.

  15. how do you take off the entire winsheld wiper? I'm trying to paint the back plastic mesh under the wiper but to do that i have to take it off. so how do you take it off?

  22. I would love to up my axle to a dana 44 but i don't have that type of cash and a guy at audo zone told me since i got biger tires then i need to. and i have a 2wd :( with a dana 35 idk what type of tranny i got. its all stock
  23. I still have the stock dana 35 axle in the rear of my 89 jeep comanche but ive but 31" tires on. :clapping: should i change the gear rate or leave it the same. thanks
  24. thanks my dad and i finaly put it all back to gether we used drill bits insted of bolts. I hydro locked my motor about a mounth ago and we have been playin with it since then. :wall: And we put it all back together today. :wrench: Thanks for the help tho it was a help and i will use your advise nxt time, and hopefully next week ill be on the road again
  25. Removed head and didn't see any. Looking at threads in block and I can't see any relief cut for one. But i'm wondering what locates gasket and head during reinstall? Any help appreciated!
