I'm trying to find a 1987 Jeep Comanche Chief! I don't know what the thing is about them that makes them different then the other Comanches out there. I know they are hard to find that is for sure and they are not cheap. I have been wanting one for a while now. I am in California, San Diego in El Cajon. But the thing is I have little money to work with and military service taking up time to get one or find someone to let me do a payment thing. If anyone can please help me find one or can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Cody

Too bad I'm in San Diego and mine isn't finished my dad live in bullhead city az. Did not know that you were that close to to me. A good trial to go to and see some history is in Xmas tree pass trails. There's a water fall and everything. Or in the camel back mountains next to the highway going to bhc. Keep in touch.

Motor and transmission bolts and hardware
codymanche replied to codymanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
honestly i think i need nuts and bolts from the exhaust and intake manifolds. and tranny bolts to mount to the engine i really don't know. until i get to the point where i am going to need it. and as far pulling them for me then i better off at a jy and doing it myself to spend the time and money just going to get it thanks tho. I'm more along the lines of looking for a bolt and nut kit for out truck. someone has to have it.i figured if i have every bolt then i can't go wrong putting the motor and everything back together to much is a good thing i think in this case. -

metric ton springs lifted?
codymanche replied to codymanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Well I'm already lifted 6" inches with the soa kit from rocky road outfitters. So I was thinking that if I found stock metric ton spring is keep my lift. Not really looking to go bigger or smaller of a lift. The wife has to keep it on the road and don't want that stupid cali lift where it front is lifted and the rear is stock looking. -
Looking for some info on metric ton springs or if I should get deaver leaf springs? Oif so how much for either or.

I have a 1990 jeep Comanche with the closed system where I have the expansion reservoir up in the corner of the hood by the fire wall. Now then I had the 1991 donor it had the open system. I had a friend take it out for me but I haven't seen how it goes on the conversion for my truck. If I can get any help on it information and advice wise it would be gladly appriated. Codymanche
