Some serious progress! Looking good.. this may be a little out of place but what is the bar goring from the left side of the rear axle housing to something in the direction of the rear left wheel?

That cab looks mighty fine alongside the decals… really like how the newer Rubi wheels look with it too

Next thing is gonna be swapping out all the bushings on the front suspension! I bought and drove it 7 hours home with minimal issues (wouldn’t idle - bad vacuum lines) but now it’s developed a death wobble at speeds as low as 30 mph!

Also got all of the trim pieces and fenders put back on… got the windshield replaced first thing so the windshield trim needed to go back on for a while. Boy she looks good with the chrome!

The MJ had a awful bad rock to the engine so I assumed motor mounts (PO included motor mounts in the sale anyways). Swapped those out with no difference in movement. Did the entire ignition system and holy cow!!! Check out the corrosion on cylinder #1 spark plug (far right)

Well, the XJ has been my trusty daily and dream truck for as long as I can remember. A month back I found a deal on a manual MJ that I had to have so here we go!
