My owners manual says it was an option, but I have never seen one. When I pulled my side dome lights I found a wire with a plug on it coiled up from the factory on the same harness. Is this wire for the cargo light?

Does anyone have a cargo light on their truck? Any pictures?

Sahara flares are the same as stock TJ flares. The Rubicon flares are the ones that are wider.
-
I think they look good. I have them on my Rubicon, but they are kind of stiff and don't flex too well. I think with a set of 10" wide rims they would look nice. Here's some pics of the one's I have seen.

Dude, you so friggin owe me on this one - six hours at the DMV and State Police Auto Theft. I felt like a Zebra being transported to the Zoo in the Hyena boxcar... I had to fill out two affidavits and two title reports and discuss the situation of how I came into ownership of the truck between two detectives, a DMV investigator, and a JP Judge. Some guy named Juan kept asking me if I had accepted Hey-zeus as my personal savior - apparently Hey-zeus was in on a grand-theft charge and being fingerprinted down the hall. Then I had to get saline injections from loss of fluids from the profuse sweating. Schedule six months of advanced therapy. Got a hangnail. Calls made to the FBI, CIA, and NSA. Bedsores from sitting in lousy state "waiting room" chairs. Blood Poising from said bedsores. Even the vending machines at the station were out of dew. ...okay, maybe it wasn't THAT bad, but that's what it felt like... Anyway, got a call from the post office this afternoon that I didn't pay enough postage for the envelope I chose (didn't know it made a difference) so I'll stop in tomorrow and get in back on track again. You should have it by the weekend. :laughin: :rotfl2: Thanks for going that extra mile. I can't wait to drive her down the road legally! :D Thank you.

Thanks. Can't wait to get a front bumper and some paint and body work done. I'm building a house right now and funding is limited.

JohnQ replied to BrettM's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I saw these too, but how do you order them? They would fit with a just a little bit of dremel work. -
Oh........ well in that case when it gets there just send it back and I'll refund the fee I charged you. :brows: . A title is on its way??? :clapping:

Anyone else find any replacement dome lights? -
Sorry, I've been working some crazy hours. I got a console from feerocknok. :D A guy from the DMV left me a voice mail basically telling me that because the truck is no longer in Delaware that it is no longer Delaware's problem. And I should try my own local DMV for a Texas title. I'm out of ideas :wall: .

I was trying to get a guy from another forum but he has been pretty busy. I was also looking at customink.com, but they are pretty expensive unless we buy alot of T-shirts.

I took the comanche to Firestone to have the coolant system flushed and they told me there is a small trace of oil in the coolant. Does this mean I have an internal leak? Should I start shopping for a new motor now?
-

I don't have any originals. I was just borrowing them from the forum. I was down loading them at a place called customink.com.

Can someone set up a poll for the colors and designs?
-
I like the one with the mud tires. :D
-
I got them at Radio shack. I think I spent around $10 for every thing. Super easy install. I've caught the spare tire on a couple things but it doesn't seem to be in the way too much, plus it looks cool.

The main thing is get the correct adapter. My local speed shop said the 'grant catalog' showed the same one for something GM and sold me that. It wasn't the correct one. Plus, when I looked at the Grant online catalog the part number didn't match what I had. Anyone know the part number for the adapter? Is it the 3196?

Is the install pretty easy? How hard is it to pull the old steering wheel off?
-
I like the new JK. I want an army green Rubicon 4 door with half doors! :D Anyone want an 05 Rubicon, loaded with 10300 miles on her?

Anyone ever install a grant steering wheel in their comanche? Got any pictures?
