  1. Working to get a fuel pressure gauge asap! I did not wiggle the shaft much when changing the cap
  2. Only showing fault 12 and 55
  3. Replaced the pump and the in tank hose, waiting on a fuel pressure gauge. Read about the map but unsure on how to check it, explain the vacuum at idle as well?
  4. 1992 comanche 4.0 5 speed sat for 4 years with a bad fuel pump. Pulled it out of the weeds recently to get it running. Dropped the tank did a full cleaning, new pump new filter and she fired up. On the second drive she started sputtering and missing at about 40mph and it has drastically gotten worse. Takes a second to start but idles fine, will rev up fine in neutral as long as I'm easy on the throttle but once in gear it falls on its face throughout the whole rpm range. Spits sputters back fires through the intake, and won't gain speed. Sometimes if you keep it floored it will get through the sputtering and bucking and just take off with all the power in the world. Like I said new fuel pump, new filter, since the problem occurred ive replaced tps, cap, rotor, wires and plugs
  5. Thanks guys! Got the tank dropped and the metal was in good shape, but there were a few old strainers and lots of fuel hose chunks in the bottom. Getting it cleaned up and ill check the ballast resisitor as well
  6. Sweet learn something new! Last question I've noticed two different body codes jl61 or 62 what's the difference
  7. Awesome thanks! I see dana 44 listed as the rear axle but nothing on the front? I'm going to guess a dana 30
  8. What does the 5 additional gallons of fuel mean? 23 gallon tank
  9. I picked the truck up with that roll bar and bumpers
  10. So far I'm just trying to track down a fuel system issue, changed a couple pumps now and they last a bit and then burn up, dropped the tank this time around. As for the truck I put some ome tj coils under it with coil spacers, and some old school wheels and 31s for now
  11. 1992, project truck, southern idaho Been reading alot trying to figure out which route I want to go with this truck. Any vin info is appreciated
  12. What different front coils have you ran? Considering you have gone 3", 4.5" and 5.5" it seems, id like to know your feedback
  13. any updates?
  14. awesome thanks! I'm still on the fence about coils, some say the metalcloak dual rates coil bind at the top almost instantly which will take out the soft ride. Still thinking the currie progressive rates
