thought I would update the pics. Got the Jeep cleaned up in July 2 hours before a classic car auction. Took it there to see what it would bring and ended up selling it. My dad saw the jeep finished for the first time at the sale and appreciating how hard it is to find a nice clean mj, stewed over the jeep being gone and decided to go buy it from the person who bought it at the auction. He has it in storage and just surprised me with the information recently. A round about way of keeping it in the family but I thought it was a solid move on his part.
  3. Sounds like you guys have this pretty well figured out, but it seems like there is still not a homerun solution for the dark charcoal. Attached is the Chrysler Interior colors for 1990 that I got for my mj. My local paint supply shop mixes the sem on the spot and can put it in aerosol cans, I imagine other paint supply stores around the country could do the same thing. Seems to be spot on. May be a better option than trying to find a premixed color to match.

As someone who is trying to get credit for 10 posts so that I can be granted the privilege of using the classifieds, I will formally agree.... that looks delicious.
  5. Cruiser, Thank you for the renix tips. They are a great resource and have made working on my comanche fun. Matt

Build date 6/90 168,000 miles 1 new mexico owner prior to me buying and shipping to central PA On the road, but currently being taken apart for paint. Keeping mostly stock except for open cooling system. I look forward to getting the build info, thank you in advance Eagle Scout. Awesome, that you do that for everyone. Something I am curious about: seems like a late build date for a 90. While removing undercoating, I uncovered writing on the passenger frame rail that looks to say something about "last".....wonder if it could have been the last one build that year? Its pretty neat taking this truck apart and finding the dates on the fuel tank, frame, etc...
