    the roll bar is in good condition just the paint on the bases is lifting off other thean the floor the jeep is in very decent condition no holes in body panels the truck is dark gray on bottom and light gray on top it has about 160k miles on it I'm located in lincon county

    i know you all hate the idea of an mj being parted out but at this point i see no alternative unless one of you wants to come to maine and pay 600 for it with out tires on it or 1000 with the tires

    ive finally decided that I can't aford to get my manche street leagle and want another truck so ive decided to part out my manche I was wondering if you guys could give me ideas on what i can expect to get for certain parts My comanche is an 87 short bed with the factory rool bar bucket seats puke-goat tramsmission 4.0 engin nv231 transfer case dana 30 front dana 35 rear the trucs in good working order it just needs a new floor front and rear brakes ebrake and to much else to list so If you could give me a ball park idea of what i could get for the diffrent parts it would be awsome thank you

    today while riding home i noticed an old jeep it turned out to be an fc150 the guy wants 1800 or will trade for a snow plow the thing is in great shape no rust and runs fine my question is if this is a good deal

  15. i had to cut the exact same places but i used sheet metal to replace floor boards
  16. so I guse using sheet metal like i did was not the right way :oops: Or it proves me to be the backwood redneck that I am :clapping:

I'm building my MJ to look and handle like a pre runner :D And i want to get the max power out of the jeep engine I figure that If i built a 4.6l stroker and used the ho head a curved runner intake manifold and a bored out throttle body that i could get within the area of 270-300hp which i think would be plenty what are your thoughts DO NOT say for me to put a sbc in my jeep because to me that is just :nuts: and un :USAflag: plus the thought of a hoped up inline 6 roaring by my buddies would pretty much be the same as
  19. yea but he bought a lift not to long ago he should not have to spend $200 to fix a cheap product to start with :nuts: . Id send the #$%^ing stuff back and save up for RE
  20. thanks guys for now i have cut the cables later i will probably switch to xj ebrae assembly and cables this will make the console i wanna put in not look so stupid
  21. basicly what i want is for my rig to sit higher than my buddys be dependable offroad and look like a pre runner And be fast!!!! On another subject my buddy offerd to sell me his engine tranny and t case out of his cj for $150 I always get good prices for some reason also everything that goes to the engine do you guys think its worth it all i really want out of the packege is the crank and rods out of the engine to build my stroker

  23. yea but i work in a boat yard so having any fiberglass repair work done would be super easy then you figure i can get all the fiberglass parts for $780 the bushwacker flares would be at least $400 Also i need the extra tire coverage here in maine to be street leagle just so you know fiber glass can take a wicked beating befor it breaks steel wii bend way befor fiberglass will break
  24. What wrong with fiberglass its more durable than steel and when it breaks they are easy to fix or replace plus they will make it look like a pre runner
