OK.... That fuse was blown. Had a 25amp in it. Put a 20 in and still no tail lights. When I turned the knob on the headlight switch I heard it blow. Bad headlight switch? I am very much a novice when it comes to auto electrical so thanks for your help.

Phoenix is where I got mine.....

My rear wiring harness was cut (at the plug i think) to add a trailer wiring harness. Then they used some variety color wires and spliced them in. After getting to the main wires I have connected them by wire color. Everything now works (Brakes, L&R turn & Backup) except for the running lights. I'm not getting power at the back to the blue wire..... Is there a fuse I am missing? If that one wire is bad somewhere in the wiring harness is there a way to bypass it outside the harness. Have not followed the harness up to the front. That's next.

I was lucky enough to find one with a very clean bed. Had a bed liner all its life. My painter said it probably was better then from the factory in 1989.

Drivers side front below the headlights..... Is it an extra plug from the harness for fog lights?

Anyone have a good cross reference for the OEM part numbers? I have the parts catalog and the number but their descriptions are very vague (i.e. "Screw, 30mm"). I've looked at a few but they mostly have the same description.

Actually something came up on my end. Plus I think I am going to wait and just use the step bumper I have for now. Wife is frowning on a special trip down. THANKS.

Will the End Caps from a Cherokee work on the same year MJ OEN rear bumper? Found replacement front End Caps but no rear......

is there any difference between the 1986 to 1989 rear bumpers other than black and chrome? Are they all the same dimensionally?
