Also would the driveshaft have the same output shaft as the np242?

Quick question on the np242 swap. I'm doing a 98 xj ax15 swap and need a t case there's a 98 np242 from a xj with the shift lever peice with it would that shift lever peice swap right into the mj even though its from a newer xj?

New Bosch fuel pump and lock ring/o ring which hopefully is the end to my stuttering issue basically everything electrical is new now besides the coil, ignition module and cps. Of course my slave cylinder decided to die before I could even make it run right so ordering parts for a ax15 swap tonight

Still got a terrible power surge but today I cleaned up all my wires on the c101c delete and checked the fuel injection harness jt looked fine. Re did the injector and sensor grounds and added a ground too each that goes to the map sensor bolt holes. I think my next step in solving this issue will be testing the coil and cps and possibly the ignition control module. can't wait to get rid of the 4.0 at this point.

Ah ok it did thus before changing the distributor as well but I cut the old cap so I could see the rotor it was definitely at number one when I locked it downm -

What did you replace the fuel pressure regulator with? Its part of the rail kinds isn't it -

Going to check fuel pump ground tommroe all though i think I fixed it when I put new taillights in. The drivers fender ground and engine block ground were done today. -
Brand new dizzy, iac, tps, map sensor/cruiser map sensor mod and c101c delete andddd its still stuttering. It does seem the new map sensor made it worse so I'm gonna throw the old one back in tommrow. No clue what could be really causing this anyone have any ideas? and what i mean by stuttering is it will be driving along and suddenly loose alot of power kinda feel like miss firing then suddenly gain it back still drives fine and does not brake down or anything but I hate driving it like that. Could the cps cause this? Its basically the only sensors I haven't changed

I tried too used a pair of the needle probes on the multi meter but couldn't get a good reading on it i had it hit 82 on the meter so I shut the truck off ame tighten it down there.

New tps installed finally seems too not really sputtering now but it might have done it once earlier while driving weird issue might have to do a dizzy

Did you fully delete your egr?

Its just a dorman catch can from autozone or any local parts store kr was expensive but thats the price I pay when I'm impatient and hate ordering online lol. Of course I deleted the ballast resistor and used that spot to bolt it up and bent the bracket around the body right there. Also moved the egr thing over to the ground off the harness

Yeah weird that it just does not work at all anymore I don't wanna put the old one back in cause it does not work right and that little hole pours coolant out like no kther

Yeah not a bad idea I forget if I did that ground or not. My fuel gauge tach and volt gauge work just fine so it's weird

Hard to tell from the video if thats doing the same as mine or not. Once I actually get the proper tps in Saturday if that does not fix it I will definitely be pulling the distributor next then.

My oil pressure has been spiked at 80/70 psi for a while now and my temp gauge read 210 at the line below 210. Replaced both the oil pressure gauge stayed the same and now the temp gauge does not work at all. Could there be something wrong in the cluster it self causing this? I am having fuse issues and my gauge cluster lights don't seem to be turning on at all anymore

New valve cover gasket did the cruiser 54 tip while I was in there. New oil pressure sensor/coolant temp of course now they both don't work and also my tps i ordered was wrong lol waiting on a new one. Also installed a catch can
