  1. Wonderful I appreciate it more than you know. I figured it was something fuel, I was worried it was the 746 injectors or something. I'll get to adjusting tomorrow and hopefully it helps
  2. Perfect thank you! Now do you think this is a culprit of some sort? Not sure what the effects would be with my readings be so off. Sorry for lack of knowledge just want to learn :)
  3. Thanks for the response, The manuals only have the flat three plug which is where I'm getting my readings. I haven't adjusted anything to avoid messing something up, I noticed my readings weren't in the ballpark and just kinda got spooked. My apologies, CORRECTED READINGS AB: 4.92 BC: .52 AC: 4.35 I kinda had my notes botched up. But I did end up replacing that hose and threading it with the brass fittings etc like on the cruiser tips since previous hose ended up cracking with fuel injector install.
  4. I hate to ask but I wanna ensure I don't really mess anything up. 1989 4.0 Manual. I have the high idle issue, where I start up and after five or so minutes my rpms climb upwards of 2500. But if I drive it around the block and let it sit, she idles fine. I have replaced/cleaned all grounds, cleaned my throttle body, replaced my IAC. I've been talking with Cruiser but I know he's always being swamped with other questions so I try not to bug him. When I try prodding my wires for readings, AB I do get 4.9 volts but my BC I get a 4.62, which seems low. Should I get a new male connector and try readings again? I have a replacement TPS (and I don't mind throwing money to update the vitals considering everything was pretty nasty in the bay) I just don't know whether to replace it blind with potentially botched readings or if someone knows a baseline number I should aim for. hopefully this all made sense I appreciate the help as always.
  5. Oh gosh yeah.. I guess my mind did one of those "quick skims" my bad. But I guess for $9.00 someone can make whatever it looks like shabby.
  6. https://www.ebay.com/itm/184356834460 looks pretty dang nice. Hope someone snags it :)
  7. https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/d/el-paso-1986-jeep-comanche-4x4/7147700276.html Maybe someone will be interested :)
  8. Darn, still on the hunt I guess the dude sold it already
  9. Means the world, thank you.
  10. I'm just super self conscious about it. Everyone is such a pro and I'm... not. Lol
  11. I just sent them a message, THANK YOU from my entire heart. Haha I'm not cool enough for any of that I would just get picked on
  12. And thank you it means a lot!
  13. I know I've seen that one sadly it's for a lwb I guess I should've specified I'm sorry but I appreciate the help
  14. Yeah I know my odds are slim to none haha. My husband returned home from his deployment and kicked my Comanche outta the garage so now it's time for me to track a canopy down. Any help appreciated, would prefer non aluminum. I know MJ specific are pretty hard to find so a close enough fit will work too of course. Update: not a perfect fit but I'll make it work :)
  15. OH MY GOD. Messaging
  16. No absolutely they look sick that is for sure. I know they make the 194 bulbs in led so I'm sure I'll swap those in eventually. It still isn't mounted yet (thanks UPS -.-) waiting on the screws and caps, then going to dab some 5200 sealant between the visor and cab. Wiring works perfectly, tapped into the dark blue wire on the headlight switch like mentioned above and grounded to the hood strap. Fished the wires through the cowl and fender up through the windshield trim and drilled a small hole up top to feed to the visor. Other than that smooth sailing
  17. Will do and congratulations on finding one! My Lund still had the factory wiring harness in tact and just one broken lens so I decided to just keep it original and snag a $25 replacement lense on eBay. The kit seems a bit overpriced in my opinion, the only thing I can see paying for is the lenses IMO but maybe I'm cheap haha. But I'll start tinkering/wiring today. Here is a photo I found for how I'm going to route it roughly
  18. Some people drill through the a pillar and put in a rubber grommet or if windshield trim is replaced with 97+ seal you can run wires that way. Or just drill a hole in the windshield trim which I plan on doing since I plan on replacing the windshield in the future. Then slip under the cowl. :)
  19. I have the ceramic h4 harness wired up I don't know if that would work/interfere? And if it would work which wire of the three? I know I'm completely over thinking this I'm sure but I just wanna be safe and not goof something up
  20. Sorry for lack of info. They're just five, non led 194 bulbs. I have some t splice connectors I was thinking just running lights or maybe the license plate lights? I'd like the visor to turn on when head lights come on I just want the safest easiest tap in point and what color and location I can find the wire. Or I can swap in leds not sure if they have a less draw or if that even matters haha.
  21. So I am probably the least knowledgeable person when it comes to electrical. I'm about to wire up my Lund. Best place to tap into/wire color and location? I figure I'll just ground it to the hood strap. The last thing I need is a battery so I can't really test wires for power and I don't wanna hack into something. Any Barney style breakdown is appreciated. 🤣
  22. Sorry I wasn't entirely sure where my question fit in, thanks for moving it :) These look similar to the ones harbor freight has. Yeah I think with being halogen then the headlights being led throw me off a little bit, maybe I'm too picky. I guess I never encountered Marchals what dimensions are they, 4x6?
