says on raockauto that those are for 1988+ can you verify?

I bought the Haynes manual, but it's not big on giving out part numbers or measurements Can anyone help me with some part numbers OR measurement/diameter etc for hoses? Would prefer molded, but can work with cut a length. Any recommendations are helpful Examples Heater core hoses Intake manifold hoses Power steering Hoses windshield sprayer line rad overflow line fuel lines Also Air box to throttle body hose Looking to replace any/all hoses for heating/fluids Any recommendations are helpful if you can think of any I may have missed... want to make sure there is no chance of crud getting into motor/system after I purge and replace everything. I'm trying to buy parts before I travel to the truck to work on it. It's not exactly near a parts store for me to quickly run and grab a replacement.

Oh wow. That's where they put the coil? o.o Mother of god that is a dumb setup -
I'm a planner. I like to make lists for my projects. I should have everything by next Wednesday for the Engine overhaul and Transmission swap.

Would this Kit require anything else to install? would 3" be pushing sway bars/brake lines etc? http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-suspension/jeep-suspension-lift-kits/mj-comanche-86-93-jeep-suspension-lift-kits/rustys-mj-comanche-3-add-a-leaf-kit.html

Thanks man, good to know. I'm super stoked that you guys are so helpful! Gotta snap some pics for the forum. Get all the details too. Can't wait to get this thing restored!

So, fun fact. Tow truck that towed it to my mechanics place did not dolly the rear wheels. On a scale of 1-10 how much could this damage the Tcase? It traveled approx 30miles

Does it start up after it cools down a bit? do you have to wait long? --Sorry OP reread your post, "Will not restart until fully cooled down.". -- It almost sounds like vapour lock, how old is your gas cap? -
2.5L I'm used to Ford/Nissan Ordering a new manifold/ o2 sensor... Rockauto has some pretty bomb prices
-
Just one? Neat.
-
So looking at the 86 comanche... theres like 5 options for clutches on Rockauto... which one of these would be best/correct?
-
Is it a complicated changeover? or just plug and play? I would prefer an external but at this moment in time i'm not in a position to be picky. I found a 91 YJ tranny for 350$ CAD just have to swap the flange as DirtyComanche stated. Side Note - So look for the clutch that corresponds with the year of the transmission I will be putting in correct? Also if I have bung welded or use the bung from the current cat for the new exhaust it shouldn't be problematic should it? Thank you for your help and patience!
-
Parts guy said a different clutch? Have yet to do research on it though.
-
87***Km, so about 50k Miles, is there an option to delete O2 sensor? I'm going to remove CAT etc and probably run new from block (headers, muffler etc)
-
Also, fun fact, was just informed that it's an 86 not an 87. What if anything will that change?
-
Sorry, should say Motor tune-up/overhaul
-
Side note, my shopping list for the motor rebuild so far is Rad hoses Thermostat Clutch/plate Plugs/wires Battery Belts Air filter Fuel filter PCV Rotor/cap All fluids/oils Can you think of anything else?
-
Good to know, so avoid yj/tj ax-5s
-
Does it need to be 4x4? Can I not just swap the NPC 231 from old ax-5 to new one? Or is there a gearing difference? Thanks in advance!

Oooh that looks so clean... 🤤
