I bought some 99 jeep grand Cherokee LCAs. The holes line up but the bushing is too wide to fit into the shackle, if that's the right term. The control arm will not slide into place. Do I have to trim the bushing? Any suggestions

I am in need of a 3/4 gauge cluster years 87-90. It must have all gauges except the dummy light in the lower left corner for low fuel. large gas gauge, no tac I have a picture of my old one if needed. Most I have seen are around $50 at junk yards i just can't find one for my year. Mine has a blue outer casing(I think that is the HO) Thanks. I live in 98374 if you happen to find one at a junk yard near by.

Just want to make sure I make the right choice before I spend the money. I am going with 31" inch tires with no lift kit. I am adding the WJ LCA and an inch or 1.5 coil spacer. I am getting new shocks because mine are old and shot. The rear ones I believe will be the stock size even though I'm adding bigger tires. The front shocks however I am not sure. With adding the coil spacer and bigger tires am I still using the stock shock size or do i need to get shocks that are 1 or 1.5 inches bigger to account for the col spacer?

i am replacing all the shocks while i have the front end torn apart. I am adding a 1.5" coil spacer do i need a longer shock than the stock ones? Should I add bump stops? Thanks

Got the head liner in. fit perfect without trimming. They even sent extra fabric for the visors....when I get to them. -

I found this canopy on an MJ in Auburn WA at a local junk yard. It looks like it is in decent condition and the glass is not broken. It has been cheaply painted. I don't know what they want for it but I know these can be kind of hard to find. If anyone is curious I can help out. Located at Budget in Auburn WA #253-833-9441

i found these wheels off a 98 WJ they are 15". This will fit for my project right? 31" tires with WJ LCA. Back spacing with be what I want?

Thanks hope this is it for a bit. Will a 15x8 ravine wheel work with 31x10.5 with out the rub? They are easier to find.

What year wj lower control arms will work for the swap?

Looks good to me. Can I fit a 10.5 tire? Also will I need to add bump stops?
-
What if I cannot find or don't want factory rims? What additional things will I need? Is it possible to find an aftermarket wheel with the same back spacing as the factory one?

I've done some reading and searching and I'd like to make sure my findings are correct. My 88 is 2wd and sits low in the front. I understand that the front is lower for a couple different reasons but I like the level look. If I wanted to fit 31" tires under it I would need a WJ lower control arm so i would not rub. From what I have seen that would be the only upgrade I would need to not rub. I think I would add a 2" coil spacer for the leveling. I see that it makes a difference on the wheel too. If i use stock wheels or after market. I don't have stock wheels and am looking for a set now. So am i kind of on the right track? I want to have my ducks in a row when i stumble on a deal for a set of wheels and tires on craigslist.

I bought the no mass backing carpet. The pictures above look good to me. If mine turns out that good I will be happy. From what I have read I am just not being patient enough. Thanks for the info.

I am installing new carpet in the truck and am having issues with molding the carpet at the edges. I have tried a heat gun but its not doing too good. I have also heard of steaming the carpet? Has anyone tried this? If so tips would be great or wear to rent one. I have searched the web and youtube but have come up short. Thanks as always.

I got the truck home on 10-15-17 and am excited for the project. I need to do some interior stuff like carpet, headline, gauge cluster, blinkers are out and a stereo. I plan to paint it matte black for now until i can afford the real deal. I have to replace the ball joints and it'll be in driving shape. It's going to be a slow project between the new house and a kiddo on the way.

Got this with the center console that I ordered. I don't need it and am willing to give it to a good home. I would like to give it to someone in need not someone that wants to sell it and make money.
