  2. Are Dana 30 and Dana 35 axle tubes the same size? BTF has a perch set for a Dana 30 yj front but none listed for a 35 rear??? Because of the current economy I have to keep the 35 under the rear for a little while, money can be spent in other areas until I get this project closer to being finished. OR does anyone have a suggestion of better ones(perch) to buy. Thanks

  8. So I can use the front set up and do a SOA on the rear and I should be fine?Where should I set the pinion angle when I weld the perches back in?Is there a degree or a point on the Comanche I should point the pinion at? The Cherokee axles are geared better than my current axles, and the whole thing is $150. Buy it or not???? Thanks for the help
  9. Thats cool,if you visit give me a yell..Theres an off road park about 30-45 minutes from where she lives, were heading out there Sunday with the TJ's my Comanche needs more work before I take it.
  10. Are you saying the rear won't work even if I get the axles that came out of the Cherokee with the lift? I thought the only difference was SOA on the cherokee ,SUA on the MJ??? The price is right thats the only reason why I'm considering lifting the truck...
  11. I live about 30 minutes from Loganville,I'm in Covington.
  12. A friend has a complete axle set with a 6 inch out of a Cherokee that was totaled. Will it work in my MJ? If so will I have to do anything to the drive shaft ,and do I have to add a SLE? I lifted TJ's and YJ's this my first MJ.... Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.

  14. Thanks I will look tomottow afternoon.I looked at the sticker in the door jamb and looked at everything I could under the hood, all I saw with the same VIN as title was a aluminum tag on the core support the matched.I can always swap the original dash back in if I can find the vin on the frame where you pointed me to. Just a little gun shy buying something that didnt look right... One more question will a Cherokee lift work on a Comanche from the same year??? Again thanks for the help,if I get it I will post pics as soon as it stops raining.......
  15. I'm looking at a 1988 Comanche a guy has for sale,The guy has swapped out the interior including the dash.He has the original dash and the VIN on it and the radiator support match and match the title but the one on the new dash is different,is there another location the VIN is stamped on the cab or the frame just to make sure I'm getting the same truck as the VIN.Thanks
