I am wanting to check and maybe change my MJ's trans fluid. Was wondering if I could get help identifying my transmission and maybe some reccomendations on the fluid and where the filler plug is. 87 MJ 4.0l 5spd 4x4
This is on the bottom at the back end of the transmission. Don't know if it's anything special or not.

That's how I am, never had a working e-brake although I plan to fix the one on my my when I set mine it only pulls on the driver side and I'm not sure if it pulls enough.

I just did mine back in May. I changed the seal and the oil pan gasket. After I got it all put back together I put fresh oil and a filter in it. I started it up and didn't see anything dripping so I figured it was ok so I began the 30 minute drive home. We got going down the highway and all I saw behind me was a giant cloud of oil smoke. When I got home I looked under the truck and the entire driver side of the front axle was soaked and dripping with oil as well as everything else on that side of the truck. From what I can tell it's leaking from the oil pan but I'm not sure. Right now as long as I keep it just under the add Mark it doesn't spew oil everywhere but it is still losing a little.
That part number will help me a lot thanks greatly I'm actually needing the entire setup of that hose. I'll post another picture showing why. Keep in mind that this hose has been this way since I got that truck. I have replaced the grommet on the back of the valve cover and broke the vaccum line for it in the process and still have to replace it. If you notice anything that doesn't look right feel free to ask or tell about it.

I need to know where i can find one of these or what I can interchange with it. If someone had a part number for it that would be helpful as well. I currently work at Oreilly and I can't find the elbow in our system. I know it's for the ccv/pcv system.
