  1. Yes, I said street tire. My MJ is a 2wd, AND a work horse, do MPG's is where it's at, when you have to drive all over town! I'm looking for a decent, cheap tire to fit on my Canyon's and improve my MPG's.
  2. Buell made a unique bike that was really coming into it's own. I was looking at them for a new bike next year...
  3. I'm diggin' it!
  4. I didn't know there was this much interchangeability with our trucks! I'm excited and scared...this is going to eat into my Audi/motorcycle mod money...i, hey it's a "company truck" and I need utility combined with looks right?
  5. Bought a new oil cap for less than $2! :D
  6. I'm looking for a list of mods for our MJs that are most common, and functional. My goal is to upgrade my '88, to a modern truck, while using the most OEM Jeep parts possible. Some things I've picked up. Brake booster (why?) KJ rear discs brakes (stopping power!) Bucket seats (more room?) Help me figure out the rest
  7. Bought my first Comanche yesterday, and the PO just redid the head. The valve cover looks like someone took a squirt bottle, and misted it. Do you think it needs a gasket or is one of the seals on top leaking?
  8. Made the deal. $700...pick it up this weekend if things go as planned!
  9. I've ran Kumho's on my cars for the past 5 years. I even run them on my Audi! How do I tell what axle I have? (sorry for the noob question) He's asking $900, and I can't seem to find any rust perforation. Just some surface stuff. In this economy with my company, every dollar counts!
  10. Tonight I just looked at a '88 Pioneer, 4.OH!, Auto, 2WD, LWB, in decent shape. Keep in mind, I want this for my "shop truck". I own a consulting business, where I may need to tow a small car from time to time or, a motorcycle trailer. I consult dealerships. My mechanic, said it needs a radiator, steering box, some wiring, valve cover gasket, and a matching front wheel/tire. It also features a button on the dash for "Power" or "comfort. What's that? The tires on it are noisy as 2 skeletons @#$%ing in a garbage can, what's a good ROAD tire? It's a 2wd, I'm never going off road. What say you?
  11.
  12. I've seen MJ's with the front end "facelift" and interior updates, but has anyone ever updated the rear with a facelift from a 97 also? Wonder how much work it would be? Just cutting out the boxes, and replacing them in the MJ box? Are the sizes close?
