So last winter I broke my front axle.I'm getting ready to order up some new axle shafts and I definitely want to get chromoly ones since I'm replacing anyways. Just wondering which ones to get. I've been on a couple sites and there seems to be a few different types. I have a Dana 30 in the front. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tranny on my mj went out. Wondering if anyone on here has one cheaper than the $850 my local shop wants to charge me for a rebuilt.

Hey guys,I have a 1988 pioneer 4X4 with 4.0 and AX-15 transmission.The truck has about 240,000 miles and I just dropped in a crate engine last winter. About a month ago I broke my front axle shaft playing around on icy roads. When I got it home and started it up to move into the garage it seems the transmission has gone bad as well, 3rd and 5th gear are squishy and reverse is gone. I've been wanting to build this jeep for a while now. my question is should I upgrade the axles now and what would be the best bang for my buck there and also what is the cheapest option for getting my transmission rebuilt or replaced. I have a garage and minimal knowledge on swapping aftermarket parts. Time is not the biggest concern as of now. I have until this next winter because my daily driver is currently a 1988 camaro, not the best for central Oregon winter driving. Thanks in advance and all help is appreciated.

Okay thanks. i'll have to pick up another injector and give that a shot

fired up my truck this morning to warm it up for work and noticed something leaking from the engine. popped the hood and saw fuel spraying from no. 5 injector. turned engine off and started it again, no spraying. went to work and came home to put new o-rings on injectors. before doing so i ran the engine to see if it was still spraying. no spray but small leak from no. 6 injector. installed new o-rings and when all put back together no. 6 injector was still leaking but this time onto the exhaust manifold and making lots of smoke, so i killed the engine for obvious reasons. frustrated and not knowing what else to do i packed up for the night. any suggestions? i need my truck for work and can't afford to take it to a shop. thanks in advance.

What muffler is that? trying to get as close to a V8 sound as i can get out of mine.

my MJ has no tachometer stock. (never understood why you wouldn't put a tach in a manual) i have the shift light but as everyone has said its set for a stupidly low RPM. I like your digital tachometer and would love to know wher you got it. also how to set one up, not to keen on wiring and would love some help.

where did you find a wildernest camper that fits a comanche bed?

Okay so what all goes into a lift kit, And where can I get one for a comanche? This is my first time building a wheeler and I don't want to mess it up because I have wanted a comanche since I was a little kid.

Is there a lot of fabrication swapping in a different rear axle and making everything work? Also what gear ratio should I go with?

I have a 1988 comanche pioneer that I just dropped a crate motor in and will be lifting soon. Pics coming. I'm thinking 5" on 33's cause it is my daily driver. I have a couple questions, I definitely want a nice suspension lift, nothing cheap that's gonna complicate things and not sure where to find one for a comanche. Second, I know the Dana 35 rear end isn't very strong so can it be built up or would a different rear end be a better route? I am somewhat on a budget. Trying to sell my other rig for $3500 and that's about what I'll be working with. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also let me know if this is in the right section as I am new to posting on here. I have an 88 MJ and have been trying to fix my blinkers for a while now. i have headlights running lights and dash lights. no blinkers or brake lights. replaced all fuses and both relays to no avail. any suggestions?
