Watched a video on how to remove a starter from a cherokee and it was just 2 simple bolts and then the connections, the setup on my 86 2.5L comanche is very different and i can't figure out what bolts to remove? Any advice?

crank position sensor? correct, and where is it located? -
Alright, so one day after school my truck wouldn't start, of course i immediately thought it was the battery because it tested bad prior to this situation. I replaced the battery and all was fine for a day or two. On the way home from work the truck cranked over very slowly, then i tested the alternator and it supposedly tested at zero voltage, Replaced the alternator and then got the brand new battery recharged.again ran fine for a couple days... and now my truck will start but when i shut it off IT won't START AGAIN UNTIL AT LEAST A COUPLE HOURS LATER :???: :???: :???: I am extrememly confused as whats going on and i really need to solve this problem because this truck is my daily driver ( i have an 86 2.5L 4x4, 4 speed manual) any suggestions on what to check/test??? wiring, connections, voltage, corrosion etc... i need all the help i can get, THANKS

86 Comanche Blowing Fuses
projectMANCHI replied to projectMANCHI's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
what exactly should i look for/test? -
So, last night i suddenly realized that my dash lights, tail lights, and brake lights were not working. The next morning i replaced some fuses and they all started to work again, until they all randomly went out while i was driving. Replaced the fuses again (one was a 15 amp, one was a 10 amp) and the lights came back on. The third time only the dash and tail lights went out. Currently i have brake lights but worried they will too blow out again. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem is? i really don't wanna have to keep replacing fuses. Thanks.

projectMANCHI replied to projectMANCHI's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
t-case drops are not for the front, they are all about the back, specifically the angles of the ujoints in the rear shaft. XJs and wranglers have short wheelbases and the angles of their rear shafts as you go up are severe enough to sometimes cause vibration. MJs have a foot more wheelbase than a cherokee and so the angles are much less and vibrations are rare. It is unnecessary. would it be a good idea to get a track bar from rough country? -
