Love the look! What color paint did you use for the Chrome Dust Caps? -
I have 1988 Jeep Comanche that currently doesn't have power steering. Looking for the whole power steering set-up for 2.5 motor. Reservoir, pump, pulley, brackets, and hoses---whole set up.

90 Camanche with 88 2.5L. At a loss so any help would be greatly appreciated. When I turn the key I get nothing but dash lights, no crank. Turn key off and back on and get nothing, not even dash lights. Wait a little while and same thing, dash lights, no crank, turn key off and back on, nothing, not even dash lights. I replaced the starter with a used one and it worked for about a week. Now its doing the same thing. So I have put a new battery in and just replaced the starter again but with a new one...still nothing, same symptoms. What should I check next?

The XJ manual mirors with the joy stick controllers is what I ordered. -
So I bought some manual side mirrors that mount up on the corner of the door...but the did not come with the Interior mirror trim cover. At least I think that is the name for it. Does anyone know a part number or where I can pick some up? Interior Manual Mirror Cover Trim???

WTB: Missouri : 97-01 xj clutch/ brake pedal assembly.

I have a brake/clutch assembly out of an 88 Comanche. Where are you at in Missouri? I am in Northeastern Oklahoma. -
Collinsville, Ok here!

Ok. Thanks guys!

Thanks guys. Off to begin my search for the perfect donor!

Gotcha! I noticed slot of the newer Cherokees such as the Laredos are V–6. How would this play in to the transmission swaps?
-
So either way I will have to modify the drive shaft if I go with a cherokee?
-
Update: The slave is internal so it can't be bleed easily. We have determined that the clutch won't engage so the actual clutch is out. I am just doing a complete motor and tranny swap with my 88 doner.

Semi–noob here. So I have a couple of questions? I have a 1990 Comanche base and a 1988 comanche base. Both have the 2.5L with a AX–5 tranny. From my understanding the MJ is the trucks and the XJ is the Cherokee or Wrangler, is that correct? And if I want to do a simple bolt on 2wd–4wd swap I have to keep the donor being a 2.5L with a AX–4. What years and models should I be looking for exactly for the easiest conversions?

1990 Jeep Comanche Base Model. 2.5L Engine. AX–4 transmission. In the process of rebuild, daily driver. Located in Collinsville, Oklahoma.

Yep, that looks familiar. Ok. I was focusing on the left side. I have ran out of daylight here in Oklahoma but will check it out tomorrow and let you know. Thanks. By the way, what number is the bleed screw on that diagram. Maybe I can just trace is back.

Mine is a 2.5. Don't know about the tranny...all I know is that it is a 4 speed.

Strangest thing....nothing above the line. Just look like a hole with a line shoved inside it! LOL

There is nothing above the curved line. I snapped a pic to try to upload it but can't figure out how to attach it on the forum.
