Well it looks to be that the oil everywhere was just from the oil filter getting smacked... annd it looks to be that we can get a small drill up in there to monkey those broken bolts out with. So things are looking good.. but you know where that always leads... to more problems.. so cross your fingers. -
thats really sweet. i wanna see some more picturess dude

Thats what I planned on doing. Gotta get it fixed or it will just come back again. Oh and BTW it is disgusting what comes out of 20+ yr old carpet when you pressure wash it. I ordered new carpet for my MJ a month or so ago from, http://www.stockinteriors.com/ and i got it pre-fitted, (had a little trimming i had to do), and it looks great! just in case your washing doesn't go to smoothly as planned.. lol -
So i was taking off from a stop light (a little fast) the other day and my right side motor mouth broke off.. it looks like the mount is still okay,, just the bolts where sheared off flush with the block.. so i have to get thouse out and reattach the motor mount... but here is the thing.. when i heard it break i pulled over right... and there was oil all over my front end... so like... something broke..and i don't think it is the block...do you have any ideas? I towed it home.. and we started it again and no oil looks to be dumping out... so i don't get it..

So this afternoon on my way home i broke a motor mount on my Jeep.. =/ sad days. Now i am looking at getting some Brown Dog after market mounts. Well they have 1" and 2" mount lifts... so i'm wondering.. why? would it be better to get lifted ones? or just stick with stock.. and what is the purpose of lift mounts?

Well i got some sucky news! On my way home from work today... my passenger side motor mount just blew aprt when i took off.. a little fast. but still it shouldn't have broken like that.. i am having oil coming from somewhere.. but it doesn't appear to be a cracked head, my uncle thinks maybe the oil regulator... but we will have to pull it and see...=/ sucky day. I swear on the Jeep bible tho that i will not just give up on this baby, but bring her back to better then she ever was. Amen. -

Thank you very much sir! Yeah well i stripped it down to bare metal, and then a coat of primer, and then we rattle canned the entire truck a flat black. i'll try to get a picture in of what i had painted it 1st but then changed my mind.. -
oh right on thank you, i will give her a look in the morning.
-
where would that be, and what would it look like?
-
That looks like a poor pic of the the vacuum line connector that plugs on the vacuum reservoir behind the right side front bumper. It also looks like the vacuum line connector that connects to the water control valve in your heater hoses. Like someone said - in what general area did you aim the camera to take this pic?? oh i'm sorry, yeah that is behind the front bumper, on the right side, where Pete said to look.
-
Welll i found that this was disconnected..i think... but it is still goinging... is that not even the right thing? :hmm:
