  1. How big is your driveway that you're spreading half a ton of salt?! That's a lot of salt. Glad to hear it's working! Been looking for a spreader to put on my 86' Comanche. Don't need anything big. Will look into the company your using.
  2. Thanks!! Definitely going to look into that. Only to fix the exhaust manifold leak next.
  3. Ok I'll have to tear it apart and figure out what size bulbs go in it. As for the valve cover, any year Cherokee will work that had the 2.5?
  4. I'll give it a try. On accel up hill it'll slowly get warm, any decel and you can watch the gauge cool and bury 100*.
  5. Check out sloppy mechanics public page on Facebook if you have one. Those guys will love your LSx powered Comanche and will help get your tuning sorted out. Nice work
  6. Also, are there light bulbs behind the climate controls on an 86? It's super fun trying to find and remember what's what in the dark.
  7. I have the 2.5 in my 86. This thing leaks oil from every hole in the block or so it seems. I need a valve cover. Oil pan was replaced by someone and leaks a bit. I noticed around the distributor it leaks a little. The front of the exhaust manifold has a leak too. It's over 25 years old with 160,500 on it. How hard is it to replace the exhaust/intake gasket? Every time I drive it or push snow for hours and hours I smell like a mechanic. Not sure where or if anyone is selling a valve cover. I priced one new at $195.
  8. I push a 7.5' Meyers with all barn made truck mount. Plows heavy so I stuffed air bags in the coils to solve that issue. Running 31's on factory grand Cherokee wheels. No lift on truck. Idk how to post pictures. I push commercial and residential
  9. I'm new to the forum. Any help would be great. Not sure if we can post pictures here?
  10. I push a 7.5' Meyers plow residentially and commercially with my Comanche. Recently I replaced the water pump, thermostat, and radiator and tagged in a temp gauge. Here in PA it's been cold and truck will not run above 140 on a 30 degree day even with the plow up blocking the grille. Lately it's been in the single digits and struggles to run 110 and the heat at best is like warm. I have a 2.5 in it. How much of difference has anyone seen blocking off the entire grille? I have a 195* t-stat in it.
