  9. Ok so the couple times I'm gone to start my comanche it won't start.. It will start after I pop the hood and move the injectors, now I have no idea what that would do in order for it to start, Could it be my fuel pump not having enough output psi?

  11. Ok guys I'm stumped here, on my 88 MJ all stock. I've started to here a "rubbing/knock" when I turn left, Now it also dose it when the suspension moves. I feel it in my drivers floorboard. I just replaced the drivers side hub and U joint and they did seem to be bad but I still have this noise

  14. This is the E-fan I used
  15. My comanche over headed on the highway about 3 weeks ago and it was my pressure bottle that had blown the seems out. So I had "ramblinringo" tow me back to my house. I talked myself into doing the "open cooling system" swap now that I needed to replace it anyway. I got a new radiator and thermostat housing, for a '93 XJ 4.0l, I also got new heater hoses and a new vacuum heater control valve. After getting all the parts home I started the swap, well the top thermostat house bolt broke off in the head After work that next day I came home to this My father took the liberty and tried to get the bolt out himself... Now I had no way with a EZ out. I got a electric right angle drill, left handed drill bits, and a sweet set of "snap on" bits from a friend, and a hei-coil kit size 5/16". Now I started very small and worked my way all the way up to a 21/64" bit, then I used the tap that came in the hei-coil kit and taped the hole and I got a peace of all thread and cut it to the size I needed it to go through the housing and able to put 2 nuts on it. I then installed the hei-coil with RED loctite on it. I waited about 2 hours for the loctite to set up then I threaded in the 3" peace of all thread that I also put RED loctite on. I put the thermostat in and out the housing on, I let the sealant set up over night and then I put the new radiator in and installed the new heater control valve and heater hoses. I removed my fan clutch and wired in a 10" E-fan! And I rerouted my belt as I stated in this thread.." http://comancheclub.com/topic/40204-belt-routing-help/page-2?do=findComment&comment=406750 " I got a "Jack Daniels" glass bottle from "ramblinringo" that we just had to finish off and we drilled a hole in the cap and made it into my new over-flow bottle. It's awesome! Now its full of coolant and ready to rock and roll! Here is how it looks after the swap There was just barely enough room for the radiator cap it fit in the space I had but it fit just like it was stock
  16. Ok so I have been trying to think about how I'm going to lift my MJ. I would like to fit 275-75r17s on 2014 rubicon wheels under my MJ, I would like about 3.5" to 4.5" of lift. I want to do the spring over axle swap in the rear and do 4" lift spring in the front but how much lift will the SOA give me? Help please! This is every thing I should need. Just give me some input, cuz my girlfriend doesn't talk back when I just rumble on about my MJ!
  17. I just got a call for briggs and they told me they will reschedule the jamboree as soon as the government shutdown is over, and if you already paid the entry fee and you can't make the reschedule date then they will refund you your money
  18. I'm going to be there! I have a friend in Topeka KS that's driving up for the event also. Can't wait to see you'll there!
  19. How is this belt/configuration working for you, my fan pulley is shot and I,m thinking about doing the same thing It's awesome, I'm very happy with it. I wish I did it sooner. I feel a difference in power when I floor it from about 40
  20. I switched to a Gates belt "K060837". It is 13/16"x 84-1/4" belt
  21. I started with a Gates belt K060806 and it was WAY to small, I then went to a K060879 and it was 3 inches to big, I ended up with a K060849 and it seems to be right but I had to MAX out the power steering pump to get it tight and now my belt is sqweeking so I think I'm going to get 1 size smaller and I will let you know what the gates belt number is, Thanks
  22. I finally got some time and take off my belt from the stock location. I Routed the belt as it would go stock but I just skipped the the fan clutch puller The belt didn't touch any part of the alt. bracket, so it looks like I'm going to get the 6PK2045 belt like hornbord said.
