What did you end up going with for a final setup for the VSS?

Couple more questions about adapting the 5.3 to the AX-15. I finally got myself both and am seriously considering the swap. I was looking at the Novak adapter plate and running the GM flywheel and clutch kit. What did you use for the pilot bushing and throw out? I assume you used the factory throw out and that's where you ran into some issues with your disengagement? What are you running for a starter?

Can you provide any detail into the wiring of the 5.3? What harness did you start with, truck harness or car harness? I am in the process of collecting parts currently and have a lead on a 5.3 truck.

Been to multiple junkyards in my area and nobody has anything. I have an 88 Comanche with the idiot light cluster, want the full gauge cluster. My jeep is an 88 so it has the plastic speedo cable retainer. Anyone got one laying around?
