after 26 hard years the starter went out and after banging on it for a week to start it it gave out totally so she got a new one

just been driving it as i bought a fun little project its not a jeep but here is a picture anyways :P also means more to come on the jeep :P gi

the stump is about 36" and i have a bit more flex than that i say not bad for short arms :P and thanks also waiting on my one ton steering as today it started to steer funny kinda annoying as this is my DD

been along time on updated my parts got delivered in bad shape so i had to send them back :( on a plus note flex pics!

update she is now running and driving again new rear bumper is now flat black bed liner is out of it and the bed liner for it is ordered just waiting on brown santa to come and drop off my parts i want :)

the new bumper is started only had about ten minutes to mess with it but i got the metal cut and welded just need to add tow hooks and then grind it all down do a second pass sand it down and start painting

after the bumper and flares are cut i will be doing a rattle can paint job changing the color to a metal flake purple

well i feel like i am talking to myself at this point but i will keep going full tune up today plugs wires cap fuel filter air filter and oil changes all the way around and greased everything she is almost ready for a real wheeling trip Ordered some goodies for the comanche today :yes: keep tuned in to find out what they are :brows:

put my seat in this morning and the old bumper that was bent to go rescue my dad in his toyota who went mudding without me and got stuck about a mile back in the woods also turns out my fix wipers didn't work :doh: stopped on the way home for some snacks

Rust is fixed as of tonight became too late to take pictures sorry for the long gap for people that are watching the thread . :MJ 1: . Drove it over to the house today using a milk crate as a seat (its four blocks away in a small town) Also rear bumper that was made ready to put on got sold to some one with an XJ that offered me too much to not build another :thumbsup: more pictures to come tomorrow

i know this is kinda old but i am wondering if i can take my bench seat out and put in xj buckets?

well update on my project i took out the dash bench seat the flooring stuff headliner and got my bumper welded up and mounted and am in the process of painting it pictures to come :)

my dad confirmed today that it is not the locker when it downshifts it scares me and a swerve left and yes we have it down to a trans problem

i might just be nuts also on the locker part the locker is almost brand new but i will check that out also should add it is jumping to like 4k rpms and higher when downshifting and it surges in gear and will jump 500 rpms and go up and down

hey guys i was driving today and came across a problem after pulling a person out of a mile long mud pit. It seems that my transmission is downshifting on me and locking up my rear locker causing it to be hard to drive it will down shift hard and sometimes seems like its out of gear fluid level looked right and clean the jeep is a 87 metric ton already did the TV cable reset anything helps as i use this truck for work

well had some progress today on the rear bumper but forgot my phone so no pictures i feel like coming along nicely

i will have to look into them started on my rear bumper today will have pictures up later

i am loving the jeep man i love zone lifts can't wait to hear how it wheels more info on the paint would be awesome :thumbsup:

well after i bent my rear bumper today i decided its a great time to start my build :thumbsup: i bought the MJ about a month ago been driving it around hit a few mud holes and mainly played on the beach everyday getting an awesome feel for what it needs Current specs 4.0 with 10K miles aw4 with 20K 6.5" lift No sway bar discos 33" bighorns long bed Metric ton model Rear aussie locker D44 rear the plan for now is a set of bushwackers build some custom front and rear bumpers along with a set of sliders Final plan is not yet made i like to play till i break then upgrade :brows: as i have a spare cj7 at the house

okay awesome yea mine doesn't look like that my parts just came in this morning just need to pick them up and borrow the tools

thanks it looks to be a bit more than i have ever done but i am gonna try all my parts get here tomorrow if any one has tips i would love that
