I don't know if you checked but i accidentally didn't put the butterfly lever on the TPS under the throttle lever. That was a brain fart I had but I had the same issue and that fixed it for me.

Awesome! Where did you get the foam blocks from? I'll need to look into doing this.
-
How much would you want? I'd be down for the trip unless shipping ain't too much. I'm not sure who would ship but if its not too expensive shipping would be best

My Herculined 90 Comanche

Not bad. I'm not a fan at all of the lined dash but to each their own! Love the grill, did you swap fenders too? or just the front grill? -
NO! Why can't this be in TX :(
-
How about shooting me the 4x4 drivetrain...
-
That's why I didn't limit my search to just 4x4. The 2wd to 4wd swaps are quite common and are mostly bolt on so it's not too tough to make a 2wd one to 4wd!
-
I saw that and thank you! The lady really wants to do the upholstery so I'm really trying to find someone who has the baseboard.
-
Hey guys! I'm trying to get the mj looking all pretty before I start on the conversion to 4x4. I don't have a headliner now =/. I don't particularly need the fabric to be on it but would be nice. I'm in north Texas, 76266

New To Comanche Club! Ellman605S 88 Manche

No big updates yet. We'll be painting her yellow next wednesday. But I took her out and she finally drove me to work under her own power, no death wobble or high idle anymore :) I'm going backwards though! Tomorrow I am picking up a bench seat to get rid of the buckets. -
Reran tubing(its 1/8") and she purrs now. I need to readjust the tps for idle but she runs smooth. Now I've run into the issue that anytime I give it any more than a tiny bit of the gas pedal, she stalls out. If you blip the has pedal it nearly dies. Ideas? It couldn't be because my muffler is blown right? It sounded like it was shooting out of the muffler but the muffler is at the very end if everything so I doubted it

88, yes, renix. Now, hose on throttle body? I searched for one and couldn't find it. Any info on that, that or does anyone have a picture they could throw up for me of the hose from the map to the tb? I'm not sure if it was ever put on there on the first throttle body. The entire vacuum system is messed up from the PO. and yes, TPS was adjusted properly I THINK. Not 100% sure if i got it right though.

Hello all. Just recently came into a new bored throttle body for my comanche. Swapped em out, and now afterwards, the jeep has been idling absolutely miserable. Now, my muffler is completely shot. It's just done. But would that cause a terrible idle? It's spewing out some smoke, looks to be light, but randomly gets dark. I sprayed out the TPS and IAC wires with TB cleaner (i know, bad idea, i don't know why i did it), but I don't think it would be causing this. Here's a video of the sound coming out of the muffler. Sounds like a misfire somewhere. The #1 fuel injector plug is kinda...idk. It comes off very easy. I have new fuel injectors to throw on but having issues getting the rail off (PO overtorqued obviously). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6_BKq766dw Any idea anyone? When i hold onto the throttle, it'll rev up but randomly lose 2-300rpm, then go back up. In the video you can see the light blue colored smoke coming out of it. I'm assuming it's running rich.

Sent you a pm. Far but maybe we can work something out

Looking to either buy a bench seat, or trade my buckets for a bench. I just like the feel of a bench more-so than the buckets. Located in North Texas. Let me know!

That to me sounds like the flasher is bad. If your hazards work, swap the two silver cylinders that are in the fuse panel. Ones on the bottom left ones on the top right. They're the flashers that control....you know....the flashing of the lights. Re-read post #1. I know what youre saying haha. No, I've tested the flashers. My flashers were bad. replaced them both. The issue is they still won't flash, and they only react at all if the brake lights are on
