I have 86 witch I swapped everything over from a 98 Cherokee. I read the fuel pump would swap to 4.0. Would an earlier year fuel pump of 4.0 work , pressure I mean the. Just re wire the plug. Thanks

86 Comanche 2.5. Will it fit in a wrangler with his intake mandifold and goodies?

I'm looking for a leaf spring that is stock lift height that has the same length as my Comanches. I have a 86 long bed with a cage and full widths and my leafs are bowed

or if anyone can message me a pic of theres i can tell by the bends in the lines if you have an 86. i don't no if this is my problem with it starting or not. thanks if you have the time.

i put a rebuilt motor in my comanche 86 2.5l fuel inject. And on the back of the throttle bottle were the fuel lines go in. drivers and passenger side. of eachother. I took me a month or so to figure find a new fitting. Do you no which is the fuel in and fuel out. I havent mest with it for a month or so i forget.

i talked to a guy with a built yj on 37s stretched on 488s and he said it pulled getting on freeway with the 2.5

Alright u convinced me to go with 4.0 and wait longer. I have a 4.0 stroked in my 98 Cherokee 5 sod long armed on 35s with 4.56 and it pulls awesome

i was thinking about the 91 but isnt the harness different rather put a 4.0 in but can't find decent parts rig with the high output

it ran like a charm for a week i say check the plugs before anything

I'm wondering if the 2.5l in the 87-90 are the same and bolt right in with no different harness ?

alll the firing order is right i put them on for him and it was running good i think its his fuel pump now. it sounds like its not getting enough fuel. or the carb. come on fart put in a new motor :cheers:

my cherokee just got tboned and the axles no good the housing broke. I'm buying axles out of a comanche geared in locked off craigslist. are the mounts the same width on the comanche rear d44. as a cherokee. i don't care about the spring under/ over i know the comanches on craigslist is sprung over thanks for the help. my jeep dailey driver xj is at the insurance place so i can't check

ive been looking for a headliner for my comanche for about two years everytime i find one its gone or mest up. I only look around the local yards near seattle. Anyone no where to get one or have one? thankssss

i just read it only gives you 12hp gain of another site. and this :(The horsepower gained by swapping from TBI to MPI is not worth fooling over )

i have 86 comanche and need a new engine, its the tbi model, what would i have to do to get the 2.5l mpi out of 1991 or newer engine. thanks for the help

i have a 86 converted 2wd-4wd mj long armed. i spent alot money on suspention and i made custom stainless stearing. i have cracked block. ive hurd about the 3.4 comaro swap. I'm looking for a v6. any sugestions for 1986 4
