Ok I have reread this post and I see NOTHING about what kind of feul pressure you are getting . you need to do what every one has said and get a gauge on it . that is the only way to tell . you culd have a pin hole in the short feul line in the tank . This was my problem when I bought non running one. they did titen the clamp and it has the same problem as you are having now .
again you MUST check it with a gauge .
Please post you readings. :smart:
Ok I'm TRYING to get my friends ol 77 ford 400 2bbl running better. But not having much luck.
here is whats going on. the truck stumbles all the time. hard starting most of the time .
I have rebuilt the 2bbl and timed it to 2,4,6, and 10 it will even run at 30 BTC !
plugs and tune up are good.
I just noticed this to day . when I reajusted the float level ( WET) . when I released the needle and seat pressure there was air bubble coming up. I also ran the motor with the top of the carb off and air is comming up out of the needle and seat. I would say I have a hole some place I need to track down?? does this sound right ? I have not worked on a carbed motor in a while so I'm a bit rusty. But I should have no air .
Taking input.
Thank you in advance .
ICEBOX

Ok we all love our MJ's but shipping large items just cost to damn much . Here is my Idea.
We all just move to one state and take it over. change the name to (Comanche) or ( Comanche nation ) or what ever. We can vote that in later . But HELL guys I say we take over a whole state ! what do you think !
