That just happens to be a 68 Byscane it has a door post Impalas don't but, who cares right? I bought it in 98 for $600. and my boy Adam, you met him, did the body work and paint and I agree he did a great job. Looks like they'll be puting me back to work in a couple weeks so if I go wheeling it's got to be around here for if I travel it will be with mommy on vacation but let's not rule it out just yet. I'll be in touch soon. Mark -

Just wanted to say we really enjoyed ourselfs and are planing to come back sometime this year, say late June. Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found -
Just a thought, but have you checked the filter. My thinking is that at high presure { DIRTY FILTER } could cause the pump to stall { if it has a resistor on it } and after it sets a little fuel will seep through thus lowering the presure allowing the pump to kick on with less resistance. and that little fuel that gets by will allow the truck to run for a little bit. Just a thought.Trying to cover the basics that are so often over thought.

Meet & Greet in Central KY?

Let me get through Easter and I'll get up with you. If it's mostly off highway I would like to bring my PROJECT. I just today finished my 5.38 gear install and it really made a big differance, although with my diff turned up highway drivings out. I've ran her about 5 ml. at around 25mph but don't want to make a habit of it. but I wouldn't mind 1.5 or so. And how about 4wheelers my boy might would like to bring his but if it's an issue I may talk him in to bringing his TJ -

If you happen through my area witch is between Huntington and Charlston on I64 {HURRICANE ZIP 25526 for you map quest guys} I would like to invite you to church. Then lunch atarelocal MEXICAN RESTERANT then if weather permits will take a ride { horses,mule-the for legged kind-COMANCHE,rihno,yj,} and I'll let you drive. I'm 10 min. from 2 McD's and 10 min. from MUD. You won't even have to work on anything cause if one's broke we just craw on another I mean in a nother. Now you can't beat that with a stick. PS I'll keep my eye open for a spare Comanche -
Well right now it has 4.11 with factory 231 T-case 4 speed with a 2.5 4 banger and it dose really well. If these pictures come through you can see it was pushing mud with the axles, but you don't want to stop and try to take off. It also has 2" blocks under the front coils but I've got 4.5 springs on the way. I just hope it's not to stiff cause it really rides Great through the woods. Then again I don't care for the nose dives when you hit the brakes, maybe I'll have to add a couple more shocks. and thank you all for looking, it's been great. Mark

Well a buddy of mine was off work with a broke foot and I'm still off from an accident from work 11/11/08 were i got ran over by an electric truck, and when he would show up he would ask if we were workin on the Tractor Truck and I didn't like it at first but if you here something enough well, so it kind of stuck. TRACTOR TRUCK it will do and the kids like it. And as we speak the UPS lady just droped off my rear gears AWESOME!!!!!!

I also removed the coil spring bump stop, fliped and welded it on the 44's spring perch then took a rear spring bucket off an old Caravan rear axle and bolted to the frame rail over top the axle and made a track bar bracket out of 2x3 box. I also got a drop pitnam for a YJ but it was only 1/2" lower then my MJ's so it has severe bump steer { WORK IN PROGRESS }My front 5.38s arrived but still no rears. "ANTICIPATION" SORRY I'm still working on my photobucket sizeing

Tires are all the same. 11.2/24 ag tires and rims off a water pivot with the spacers from a one ton dual wheel chevy welded in the center for the bolt patern. The guy I bird hunt on out in Nebraska gave them to me just to see me put all 4 in with a truck load of hunting gear, 2 dog boxes and 3 bird dogs all in the back of a short bed chevy with a fiberglass topper and the lid closed. of course the dog boxes got tore apart and the poor dogs had to stand up like bowling pins for 1200 miles but they didn't complain. This build was very simple. The rear is a 14bolt GM from a late 70's Chevy 3/4 ton and 4" blocks from a 70 Ford F250 tall boy it will bolt right in the springs had to be spread about 1" but you can't really even tell. I used a extended brake line for a TJ rear. I still have the E brake to hook up. The drive shaft worked great with a T case drop and an offset U joint from NAPA 348 I think but I'll have to double check. The front is the F250 closed knockel dana 44 heavy duty with drum brakes. I know but it works and I had it in stock, and after a lot of tries I ended up cutting the existing control arms and extending them. The bottom with 1x3x3/16 box tube the top with 3/4x2x1/8 I think. I also had a 36" CV drive shaft in stock and I made the arms so i could use it. Around 25" on the bottom arms and another offset U joint #? I have it wrote down. The brakes had to be tied in with the rear using the front disc resavore I know it sounds scary but off road it has proven very capable and very stable. I'll try to get a few pics up in the next day or so. Sorry in advance for my grammer
