  2. Can anyone tell me what these rims are ? and bolt patteren ? :hmm: Ravines i believe but both works for MJ´s don't know the bolt pattern but they fit in MJ´s same as XJ´s
  3. ......when something gets broke wheeling and you feel as it was your right arm... ....when you fly 2000 miles for vacation and think: wish i had brought the manche ...
  4. nICE ONE :agree:
  5. Man that´s a nice truck! love the work on the 97+ swap, very clean job... I just started to do the interior of mine with the center console and vanity mirrors from a 2000 xj Keep up the good work dude!
  6. I used a yellow adhesive to put them on, but i still had to slam it like i don't want my manche to get´em closed, i saw that maybe the problem is right next to the dash , it seems to be the exact place where the door first hit the seal so the handle side is not reaching thew closing position.... Probably I'm doing it wrong or something...
  7. actually i did try... but it was to much effort to get them closed , i even thought that the window will broke.... should i try to relocate the hinges or some stuff like that?
  8. THE NEW LOOK OF THE MANCHE  NOTE: That oil spots on the floor aint mine... Testing it at the sand drags.... now I'm running a 2000 XJ 2.5L engine, new clutch, and some mods in order to fit the newer engine, just a few relocation of some sensors like the temp one. planning to get a rolled 2001 XJ with coil set up and do the entire swap, interior, dash, 4.0L engine, and auto tranny but thats it for now :typing:
  9. Has anyone done this before? i believe i saw a tread about this but i can't find it, actually i tried his afternoon to do it myself but i can't make the door close properly (I'm aware that these new seals are thicker) any help is welcome
  10. you should be aware of rust as everyone said before, and if you take care of a 2.5 engine it will last for a very long time or miles, mine died at 378,000 original miles on the clock and i used it as my dune jeep so you can tell it had fun all these years now I threw a 2000 model 2.5 engine and I'm having a blast driving this truck again Welcome to CC
  11. After blowing up my original 2.5 engine (having a blast in the sand and dunes ) i put in my comanche an XJ 2000 2.5 4cyl engine but had a problem with the new dipstick so I'm using the old one , but it seems to show a wrong level, so I'm changing oil today and the question is : how much oil (according to manual or manufacturer) should i drop in this model engine??? thanks guys for yah help Rick
  12. I'm sorry guys looks like I´ve exceeded the bandwidth  i´ll fix it up tomorrow :wall:

  21. Hi Casey I'm just wondering if that door damage could have something to do with the under carpet water... You said it wasnt raining lately but with that gap even a garden hose could be a storm Lol NICE FIND WITH THE TRUCK BY THE WAY

  24. Man that is just sad... I saw in JY once a rust free and straight comanche short bed beign used as a garbage container; asked the guy if they will sel the entire truck and said no (WTF?), and of course a sad memory of 2 entire MJ´s with engines and all sold to a metal recycling company (WTF?) There are stupid people out there, be carefull guys... :(
