The drive shaft is in excellent shape. Some surface rust but nothing that looks major. You are the second one to say that but the shaft shortened so much it pulled it out of the transfer case.

That hummer is sweet. I have been doing a lot of reading about it. We all know it will look nothing like that when GM releases it. -
Truck was stuck and froze to the ground. I put it in gear and let off the clutch and that happened. Can somebody give me the length from center cap to center cap on their drive shaft?

so the 4wd is about 58 inches. Could one from something else work? S-10? Dakota?

ya i am aware of this but finding an exact fit would be better and cheaper. i need to know the stock lentgh of the MJ one also.

Could anybody tell me the length from joint to joint on a LWB 4.0 4x4 shaft?

So i destroyed my drive shaft today. Are there any other drive shafts that will work for the rear? Does it have to be from another Comanche?

I bought them from a friend for $250 i think he paid a little over $400 mounted and balanced. It is a mostly restored 8n. Working on the hydraulics right now. We use it all the time in the summer though.

They are Maxxis Mudder Buckshots. Very inexpensive and great on and off road. They were chrome when i bought it. I cannot say weather it was factory or added or just age. I will take a closer look later to see what i can find out.

From what i hear there is a sticker in the glovebox on trucks with this TracLoc. Would that be correct?

Anybody know of trucks that came with LSD in the D35? Or even better that the RPO code is for LSD?

how about welding the front? pros and cons there.

If done right is it pretty reliable? Can you do it to a DD no problem? Give me some pros and cons here.

Ya i still plan to i forgot all about it. Ya i am just waiting for it to fall off. Those need to fall off too. I plan to build some rock sliders and cut them off.
