engine swap

Has anyone swapped a ho motor into a non HO. I have a 1990 comanche and i have a 2000 4.0. i am wondering what kind of problems if any will i run into . I do not know if i will just put all my 1990 stuff on the 2000 motor or switch computers and all at this pojnt. thank for all that can help me with this
