Square turn lamp question

so the story . i got back from a trip yesterday and have my brother drop my truck off so i got something to drive , and whats he do hits a truck shattering my turn lamp and mashing up the fender....

Now the question does the fender and the lamp have to be the exact same year or has the comanche body never changed???

It gets better.

 

ALL XJ and MJ fenders and front clip trim from 84-96 are the same. There was minor change to the front clip trim in 91, but it's mostly the grill.
