Geonovast
My red one has been running pretty bad lately, and just the way it's acting and from reading several threads on here I'm fairly certain my O2 sensor is shot. I have one from my 88 4.0 XJ in the shed, I can get at one from a 92 4.0 XJ. I'm also going to be stripping a 92 Cavalier over this weekend so that one's there too. Can I use any of those? I know it's best to replace with a new one, but money's really tight right now and if it can get me by until I can afford a new one I'm good. BLHTAZ
The one from the '88 would not likely work as that is from a Renix and you have OBD1 in yours. There is a very good chance that the one from the '92 will work, but definitely not the Chevy.
Geonovast
So there's no difference between the 2.5 and 4.0 sensors?
HOrnbrod
I used a 4-wire Bosch universal O2 sensor on mine since it was the only one I could find with a harness long enough. Been working fine for three years now.......
