Lenard Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 I can't get it to shift gears, it will only grind going into reverse, but 1 through 4 i can't even get it to grind. i have checked the fluid and it was between the min and max so i went ahead and filled it full and the helped a little bit but only for a while. Also the pedal is EXTREMELY sloppy, it acts like it has no fluid when it does. Thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Geonovast Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 Sounds like the slave died. Being an 86, it should be external. Try bleeding it. You have to remove the slave, then completely compress it in order to bleed it properly. Try not to grind it up too much. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
