maddzz1 Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 After going thru my FSM my knocking noise may not be my brakes it may be loose side gears. It says the noise should be there at low speeds and coasting and stop when the brakes are lightly applied. i fit all those. :cry: Does this mean my D30 is on its way out? Should I change fluid?
maddzz1 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Posted April 3, 2008 I havent checked anything yet. I justt figured out this could be the cause last night. If that is loose would it make the gears loose?
Twisty Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Yeah, it could a little. The pinion gear can be walking in and out on the ring gear, and making them act funny.
