rubiconron Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 My exhaust is pretty rotten, so I'm looking for a little upgrade. I'll be replacing my exhaust starting with the catalytic converter. Everything on the Jeep right now is OEM from 1988. I'm not looking for the "meanest" sounding muffler but I could stand a little more rumble. I don't want to sacrifice power for economy or vice versa. I want a good medium. Looking for suggestions on a muffler. Thanks, Ron The Jeep has a 4.0L motor.
Andy in Pa Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Flowmaster 50 series muffler. Not quite as loud as the 40 series, but still has a nice rumble behind a 4.0L. A.

xjcrazy09 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I run flowmaster on mine. Works great, they make the series with the added protection to the bottom if you are going to be wheeling. I have seen people put rocks through there exhaust if your not careful.
