Looking for a D44 from older donor what vehicles will work

I will be getting my 2nd MJ this week sometime and I am trying to figure out what older vehicles I could find one on. I want an older donor because of the price it should be alot cheaper. I am looking to build it up from scratch with rear disc brakes.Does anyone know if there is a list of vehicles that came with D44 and are they all 6 bolt or can I make it into a 5 bolt axle. I hope to be able to do an article involving this swap.
