New Cherokee doors on a MJ

I am curious to know if anyone has swapped doors from a 97+ Cherokee onto a MJ. If so how did it turn out and does anyone know if there are any good articles with pictures of doing this. Thanks

The hinges are different as well as the latch (catch) on the door post. So to swap them out you'd have to weld on new hinges as well as the catch.

I have never heard about the hinges being different. Although I have not done it myself (yet) I have known the stricker to be the only mod necessary.

The hinge is different, but that doesn't matter, the new doors will bolt onto the old hinges (the holes on the door are in the same place). The new style striker also bolts right up to where the old one did, you just have to use the top hole in the new one.
