4.0 high output swap

I have a 88 comanche with the 4.0 and I'm planning on putting a 98HO 4.0 in this weekend. I know I need to change the exhaust, tps and a few other things but what about the flex plates? will the flex plate from the 98 work or should I try to swap it from the 88.

yes you should keep the 88's flexplate because your CPS will read differently than the one on the 98.

 

(i'm assuming you're retaining the stock renix wiring/sensors?)
