48wilys Posted February 22, 2008 Share Posted February 22, 2008 I have an 88 MJ with the 2.5. In the morning when I start it up it will run for about 5 mins, and then stall. After that I am lucky if it will run for a minute after I restart. If I keep my foot on the gas just a little, it will stay running. Also until it warms up it hesitates, and will buck at just about any speed. I have notice that the dash lights flicker just before it dies, but I am not sure that it is realted. It seems to be worse when it is wet. I have tuned it up, replaced the fuel filter, EGR valve, coil, and a broken wire in the harness. I have good fuel pressure from the pump all the way to the TBI.
