ROADLESS Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 The hose brings in clean, filtered air (as part of the CCV system) which is then mixed with crankcase vapors (i.e. blowby, fumes) which gets sucked back into the intake manifold (via the small tube at the back of the valve cover). I highly recommend replacing the hose! :)
