Besides heavy loads, my Comanche keeps me warm and psychologically balanced

Living in far Northern California is way different than what many people think when they think California. Lots of places have more cows than people, plenty of snow in the winter, and the fall morning are often cold--for the next seven days the morning temp will be below freezing. I have "discovered" that about the best way to get warm on these morning is to move a load of something, and today it's wood chips. Besides getting warm, my Comanche has been giving me great advice since I replaced the original stereo about 30 years ago. Since then, whenever I start the car, the stereo display reads "ADJUST," and it stays like that unless I'm playing music. Rather than change the display, I decided to just keep it that way for years. I mean, heck, it's not bad advice for a curmudgeon with a temper.
