4.0 valve cover differences

My 1990 valve cover oil fill cap always seeps oil even with the new rubber gasket. I was curious to know what the difference is with a 1991 and up version as it has the oil cap that would prevent this. Do the mounting bolts match? This is a valve cover from a 1991 in the pic.

Any 4.0 valve cover will fit any 4.0 head. Pick the one you like the best and run it. The later stamped steel valve covers have the best baffle systems and keep oil out of the air filter much better than the aluminum ones.

Thanks! I was curious about the baffling. I do get oil on the filter too. Love the aluminum look but that is the only oil leak I have is from the oil fill cap. (Knock on wood!)
