TheNerfsmith Posted Saturday at 08:40 PM Posted Saturday at 08:40 PM Hi guys, since my MJ is no longer subject to emissions (has been for awhile) what’s involved with deleting the EGR system, as per my build page the engine is out and painted and I have the later style exhaust headers. I also have a later downpipe from a Cherokee to go with the headers so any advice for the exhaust past the downpipe would be helpful. Thanks.
JZLAJeep Posted Saturday at 08:59 PM Posted Saturday at 08:59 PM Sounds like you just need to cap the intake manifold in two places and cap the vacuum lines. You can buy EGR delete kits or just do it yourself like we did. You can see what we did here:
