hgeranium
Persistent water leak after the rain on passenger floorboard. I always assumed it was the fresh air intake. It was wet enough day after to where it finally left a good trail and it’s coming directly from this hole with some sort of hose(?) coming out of it and going into the dash. There’s just a hole where light gets through. When I pull on the thing there’s a little cone shaped piece, is that supposed to plug the hole? If so, I can’t get it to stick. I read an old thread that a common leak point was the antenna grommet on the passenger side. Is that what I’m looking at?

hgeranium
Just ordered a kit of firewall grommets ranging from 5/8” to 1.5” so one of em has gotta work. I’m excited to finally get this leak sorted. Surprisingly my floorboards don’t look bad at all. Just surface rust at most. I’m very grateful that the main culprit is not the cowl leak. Honestly I’ve been putting off figuring out where the leak was coming from for YEARS because the DIY fixes for that leak look like such a pain.
