InTacosWeTrust
Hello, I am changing my MC and My BB to a bigger version due to my lift size and tires. i am looking for the fitting sizes for the distribution or proportioning valve (whatever it’s called) only the top 2 fittings where the MC connects to the DV. The sizes on my MC are m10x1.0 and m12x1.0 The fitting sizes that I need are attached in the photo. also I tried to make my own and I failed miserably, If anyone has any information on where to buy pre made braided or hard brake lines, that would be much appreciated. thanks! ghetdjc320
All the prop valve fitting are 3/8-24 inverted flare iirc (or possibly one of them is 7/16). What you can do is get some short premade nicopp lines with the correct fitting for the prop valve then use adapters for the master cylinder side. The metric bubble flare adapters can be purchased at most auto parts stores. They will have the m10 or m12 bubble flare on one end and a 3/8-24 inverted flare on the other. InTacosWeTrust
The front top one is 7/26-24. the back top one closest to the cab is the one I’m not sure about, I know that it is a 1/2 to take it off, so is that fitting size 1/2-
Flexj
Are you doing the WJ master swap?
InTacosWeTrust
No I’m doing this swap. My Mj has an 8” Rusty’s long arm with 35x 12.

ghetdjc320
This video is the epitome of brake misinformation Not sure where to even begin… First, don’t mount your booster sideways . Second, that is not how you bench bleed . Third, almost everything he says about braking is incorrect. Don’t mean to be harsh but… oh boy… On a serious note, a dual diaphragm booster increases the vacuum assist and helps increase line pressure. All of this is relative to the master cylinder bore to caliper piston sizes. Matching the right size mc bore to the caliper piston area is what really provides good braking power. InTacosWeTrust Posted yesterday at 03:25 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 03:25 PM Regardless of the video, what bb and Mc do you recommend for an 8” lift with 35” or bigger tires? That’s all I’m going off of in this video a bigger bb and Mc
ghetdjc320
This thread may help with some answers. MC bore size only needs to change when you need more fluid to drive larger/multiple piston calipers.
