tjbliley
OK, Jeff has been making me look bad with his lift and SOA work. I had to post up the work I have done or he would never let it go. Custom4x4Fabricators Front bumper and stock front skid added. 4" TJ springs up front, 2"AAL+2"Chevy drop shackles in the rear.(might need to do some morework on this. It has a little DW around 45 if I hit a bump, but I think a new track bar will cure that with a steering stabilizer.

I wasn't the one who posted "Vato" pics, now was I? :D I was nice..... Those drop shackles seemed to do the trick, but we might need to reposition that AAL. I'm free this weekend, but am on call again, so if ya wanna wrench it some more, let me know. Yer place or mine, doesn't matter...... I'll bring the TB, too. tjbliley
They are from @76 to 96 chevy c1500 2 inch drop shackles. Got them from Independent4x.com , They can get them for you. Tell Matt, Jerry sent you for the shackles if you talk to him.
CWLONGSHOT
Looks good!! BUT.... you GOTTA chop them front fenders right behind the bumper!!!! CW
tjbliley
Thats in the works. they will be flush cut with the bumper. I had to wait on the battery to charge in the sawzall, so I never got to it. It will be done this weekend. I also may get that dent knocked out in the bed. It looks real bad. I have a winch that needs to be rebuilt and it will go in the front bumper which should give it a tiny amount of rake. It is being built for Daily Driving so the lift is more to compensate for the weight of the bumper and make entry and exit easier.

Just depends on the weather and parts availability. I think I need to replace or rehab most of the steering. So I am going to look through my pile-o-parts and see what I can put new ends on and what I need to get.
