92comanche4x4 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 could i use axels from a cherokee 4x4 with a 4.0 on my comanche 4x4 4.0 i was just woundering because I'm gonna need a front axel and i found a front and rear thats just been rebuiilt really cheap
offroader461 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 front would swap right over.... rear would need new perches in the correct location for either SUA or SOA (would give you 5" lift) and new shock mounts

The shock mounts are built into the stock spring plates on the MJ.
offroader461 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 yea i knew that..LOL i would just move them up out of the way if he wasnt using factory MJ plates
92comanche4x4 Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 could i just do the spring over axel then and not worry about movin anything?
offroader461 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 no matter what you do if you plan on using an XJ axle in the MJ you have to relocate the spring perches
