CEThomas Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Well we replaced the front DS in the MJ with a 92 DS over the weekend. We found out the 89 calipers, pads and rotors would not fit on the 89 axle  Now I just looked up what a new tie-rod end would cost and see that the tie-rod ends for the 89 and 92 have different part numbers and a big price difference  Anyone know what the difference is??? Will I need to swap out the 92 tie-rods to use on the 92 axle/knuckles???
StevenH Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 If it will work, use it. The only difference as far as fitment could be the taper/size of the hole in the knuckle, right? If you tie rods will physically bolt onto your knuckles they should work...
CEThomas Posted January 2, 2008 Author Posted January 2, 2008 They bolted right up. They only thing I see different is about $5
