Manual Window Regulator From XJ

Hi all, I have a broken manual window regulator in my 1988 Comanche 4.0 Will a window regulator from a 1996 Cherokee 2 door be a direct fit to replace it? Thanks for the help

2 door XJs have different window regulators. Regulators from any 84-96 4 door XJ would work though.
